
We are looking for a committed apprentice to start training on 1 August 2026 as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Industrial mechanics ensure that machines and production facilities are ready for operation. They manufacture equipment parts, machine components and assemblies and assemble them into machines and technical systems. They then set them up, commission them and check their functions. Their tasks also include the maintenance and repair of the systems. They determine the causes of malfunctions, order suitable spare parts or manufacture them themselves and carry out repairs. After completing assembly and testing work, they instruct colleagues or customers in their operation and handling.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Applicants should have a secondary school leaving certificate. In addition to manual dexterity, they should have good grades in mathematics and physics, as well as an interest in technology and spatial awareness. Independence and meticulous work are just as important as good teamwork skills.
THE TRAINING:
Training takes place in the dual system over three and a half years. Trainees learn about professional practice through assignments at various workplaces within the company and attend vocational school in Lüneburg. Regular theoretical instruction supplements and reinforces the practical experience. In the middle and at the end of the training period, the knowledge acquired is tested by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. If performance is good, it is possible to shorten the training period.
