YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and managing software development projects
  • Taking responsibility for projects from conception to series release
  • Resource management for software projects, including coordination and monitoring of external software service providers
  • Organizing, moderating, and participating in project meetings
  • Technical coordination with customers, internal departments, and line management
  • Continuous development of the project team in terms of methods and processes
  • Application of modern development processes to ensure quality objectives
  • Introduction and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage project and quality objectives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Several years of practical experience in project management
  • Ideally, experience in software development projects or technical product development
  • Possession of an internationally recognized project management certificate (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2)
  • Additional qualifications in agile project management (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) are an advantage
  • Technical background with a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable degree related to software development
  • Strong affinity for structured workflows, processes, and quality
  • High degree of initiative and the ability to lead by example and with innovative ideas
  • Openness to change and enjoyment of active participation
  • Team spirit, strong social skills, empathy, and good judgment
  • Ability to work motivatingly and constructively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of functional safety in accordance with ISO 26262 is an advantage
  • Familiarity with quality standards and process models in the automotive environment (e.g., IATF, VDA, Automotive SPICE®, V-Model, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Delivery)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
